THE 9TH DAY FANSITE REVIEWS

When I was first approached by Lisa, I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive. I mean, we did meet on myspace and than we got to chatting everyday and I started to really enjoy our conversations. She mentioned that she had written a book and I thought.."Wow"...that is really cool. She said that she would start posting chapters and that I could start reading the story.
Well, it didn't take me long to be hooked completely. I was blown away by the raw and horrifically graphic nature in which she wrote.
I was so totally wrapped up in the story that I would "nag" her to keep putting up more chapters. I am sure her fingers were quite sore because she was very generous in posting the new chapters quickly.
My husband and daughter thought I was crazy for sure. Whenever they would pass by my room, I was either crying or staring as if in a daze at the computer screen.
It has been a while since I have read a story that has moved me so much.
Yes, it is very violent towards a woman but it was meant to show and pretty much put you in her shoes...the victim.
Lisa accomplished that. Violence in any form is not pretty especially towards a woman. I loved "Tess's" spunk. She had a very strong spirit and that made her a hero in my eyes.
Lisa is a very gifted writer. To be able to put the reader in her "world" and make us feel like we were there experiencing all that the character experienced is truly the sign of a wonderful storyteller.
I am glad to have been a part of this and I truly wish her all the success she so rightfully deserves.
Sincerely,

"First and foremost, I have to say WOW! I was so enthralled with the book; I could barely stop to actually work. (I read this while I was at work!). I read the whole thing in about 3 days. I found myself barely able to let go of what was happening in the story to come back and live in my own reality. A lot of things hit home and I truly "felt" what Tessa was going thru. The writer really made me feel like I was Tessa and I was enduring all her pain. I'm not normally one for gore, but I thought this was done very tastefully and I would buy the book in a heartbeat. Not to mention, I was constantly talking about it to my friends, co-workers, my son and his friends. I would recommend this book to everyone. I think there are a lot of women out there that could relate to Tessa and I can't wait to read the second book! Thanks again Lisa for a wonderful job. Kudos to you."

D.L. Abrams a.k.a Ladydragon ..h 2006 "This book had me at the edge of my seat begging for more, I love Tess's charector made me feel I new her, I felt all her pain, as she was brutally tortured, but she is so strong to fight til the end, felt as if I was there fighting there with her. Lisa made it all so real to me. All the charectors thier personalities as well as their appearance was brought to life to me, Lisa had me living in this book, like a movie, the imagery she had made going in my mind was so real to me, . I couldnt stop reading it I am so hooked. As I read this book I cried, laughed, was pissed off and horrified, and excited. It is passionately dark , cut to bone grusome, raw and honest, that evil is out there waiting and lurking in the shadows. Lisa you are awesome, keep it up I'm waiting for more...kudos!!!!!"

Storm (aka) Nannette. I was caught from the first page. That is hard for me because I have read so many novels. It draws you in and doesn't let go. I was in that car with her all the way to the end of the story. I felt her laughter, pain, and rage. It was hard for me to get back to real life. It effected me so much. I would read it when I got off work. I work the third shift it made me more aware of my surroundings. It was like a drug I was hooked. Lisa has an awesome talent. It is a true gift of a good storyteller. I cann't wait for more. I really have no words to describe how it made me feel it left me speechless. So for Tessa sake I hope we get our revenge.
